I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've posted anything on this site for several years... Not too sure, but here goes....

I've deactivated my facebook, as it was beginning to take over all of my spare time :s
And I was fed up with thousands of invites to lame events, and idiots on there constantly stirring poop. I'm fed up with reading how depressed people are about trivial things like having spilt their coffee, or that they want to scream and "smash someone's face in" One person even wrote as their status that they wished a particular person who she didn't like got raped - she was instantly deleted. I also don't like the whole "wt u doin 2nyt thn u wna go 4 drnk m8) That isn't proper english, surely it requires more time and effort to write such nonsense than it does to write properly.

There are also a lot of ignorant and naive people on there who post the most nonsensical arguments imaginable! For example at the time of the disaster in Haiti, people were saying we should be looking after people in the UK before looking after others abroad. People in the UK will live - perhaps not as comfortably as everybody in the country, but they will still live. People who live abroad when such disasters etc have occured will not live. So surely they have the god given right to live the same as we do? If something similar happened in the UK, would we turn away any aid from foreign countries, and allow ourselves to die because we are too proud a nation? I think not.

I realise this is somewhat self-contradictory in that it is also a rant and a moan, but yeah, thought I'd get it off my chest to nobody, because I don't think anybody ever checks this site anymore haha.

In news about myself, I've had my usual poor luck in relationships of late, not sure why, girls just don't like nice guys I guess haha. But I'm in a relatively happy place at the moment. (Not quite the angsty teenager I was when I used to post on here - I am 24 now... scarrrryyyy)

And I'm looking forward to 2011! I will be travelling around Central and Southern America for a while, and will be going to Southampton university to study Physics (either with cosmology or astronomy, I have to do a foundation year first as I would officially be a mature student) although I would probably refer to myself as an immature mature student.

If anyone reads this far, then you must have been bored, but thanks for taking the time.

Hello there!

Hi how are you? Haven't spoken to you in a very long time! Are you still in 'nham? I'm coming up next weekend (I'm going to a breakcore-y jungle-y drum'n'bass-y type night in Bristol on Friday 24th, and then heading to Cheltenham the following day until Monday) if you fancy saying hello at some point? (with an inflatable Incredible Hulk and some Murray Mints)

I've just realised that facebook is actually a very useful communication tool, and now my ties with several people have been severed... I don't have everybody's phone numbers who I am supposed to be meeting next weekend... Anyways, my number is 07891402295 so give us a text when you get this if you're about that weekend.

Anyways, thanks for reading, hope you're well, and perhapsh shee you shoon. :D :D

Re: Hello there!

And I just realised I wrote "God given right"

Please note that wasn't meant literally, as there clearly is no god, Stephen Hawking even said so.

Well there is me, Studaism is very popular these days.
